New Pac-Man Games in 2026: What's Just Released and What's Coming
Pac-Man has been getting fresh releases every year since 1980, and 2026 is no exception. Between official Bandai Namco titles and fan-developed browser variants, there's always something new. Here's a rundown of the newest Pac-Man games available right now and what's on the horizon.
Just released: 2025-2026 Pac-Man titles
Shadow Labyrinth (Bandai Namco, 2025)
The most significant recent official Pac-Man release. Shadow Labyrinth is a darker reimagining that leans into horror aesthetics — a rare tonal shift for the franchise. Available on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC.
Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs (2024)
A 64-player multiplayer game where you race through connected mazes eating dots and chasing opponents. Available on Nintendo Switch, PS4/5, Xbox, and PC. This continues the "battle royale" direction that Pac-Man 99 pioneered in 2021.

Pac-Man film reboot
A live-action Pac-Man movie has been in development at Bandai Namco Pictures since 2022. As of mid-2026, no firm release date has been announced but a director and treatment have reportedly been attached. Given the success of the Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) and the Sonic film franchise, a Pac-Man film adaptation seems commercially viable.
Pac-Man World 3 remaster
Following the success of Pac-Man World Re-Pac in 2022 (which was a remaster of the 1999 game), speculation continues about remasters of Pac-Man World 2 and Pac-Man World 3. Bandai Namco has neither confirmed nor denied these projects.
New mobile releases
Bandai Namco continues to publish mobile Pac-Man titles regularly through the Pac-Man Party Royale and Pac-Man GEO branches. Expect at least one mobile release per year.
